I've been using these napkins as a replacement for paper napkins for years now, and purchased a second set so that I could do a laundry load with only these. They are highly absorbent, and while oil stains can be tricky to remove I found that oxiclean detergent and a hot water wash gets them pristine every time. Amazing value for the money, I haven't had any fraying or odd shrinking in several years of ownership over two lots.
