I wanted a every day table cloth to use when not having to drag out the heavy table mats. It has a soft protective backing and looks so much nicer than a plastic tablecloth that is meant for a picnic table.The table cloth looks really nice and fits well. Beige kinda looks like oatmeal. It's soft and it did have come pkg creases but I steamed it in my dryer a few minutes and they came right out.
